I am currently employed as a Computing Support Analyst (translation: Computer Guy) for Engineering Network Services at Colorado State University. Or, if you prefer, I'm a CSA for ENS @ CSU. In my role as a CSA, I provide general IT support for the Department of Civil Engineering and to the Department of Chemical Engineering. I've done some web development to the Department of Civil Engineering (I'm responsible for the creation of their current home page), but am not actively doing that now.

In addition to my regular employment, I also operate as an IT consultant for hire. I provide general computer networking, repair, and maintenance services. I also build and sell custom computer systems. If you'd like to know more, please see my HerrickTech page.

Some people like to post their resume on their home page. I do not. I'm happy to share it, however; if you would like a copy I will send a pdf unless another format is specified.

In my system of organization, school falls here. I am currently (slowly) working towards a degree in Computer Science. I've been a student on and off since 1993, and still haven't received a Bachelor's degree. I received an Associate of Science in 2000 from Front Range Community College. I certainly have not taken the typical student path!

While at FRCC, I enjoyed a variety of roles aside from mere student. I was the State Student Advisory Council representative to the Student Government Association, served on a few interesting committees, and was the Editor for the student newsletter, Rangeview. I ended up as the Outstanding Student of the Year upon graduation, as well as receiving the State Student Advisory Council Rising Star Award.

At CSU, I have served on the Lory Student Center Advisory Board, the Department of Computer Science Facilities Committee, and represented the CS Department on the Natural Sciences College Council.
